winter contemplations (poems beside a lake) had its 2nd printing in November 2025 . It was first published in 2016.

It is a 60 page book, 5-1/2"x8-1/2" with a collection of 37 poems authored by John Hudetz in the winter of 2015-2016 while living on Flathead Lake in Bigfork, Montana.

The poems came out of meditation sessions. "I would finish a deep meditation session, sometimes lasting several hours, and often a single line of poetry would follow me out, " says Hudetz. " I'd jot it down on a notebook and then another line would follow. I just had to transcribe.

"The first printing was small and I never expected to do a 2nd printing...however the personal feedback I've received from readers has encouraged me to extend its availability."
